Sales & Marketing Executive (Construction Projects)

About the role

A client of Brites Management Services is looking for a proactive, results-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive to source construction and renovation projects, develop new business, prepare proposals and close deals. The position is full time, based in Ngong Road, Nairobi, with a salary of KShs 25,000-30,000.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source construction, renovation and property-related projects in Nairobi and surrounding areas, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
• Generate leads through networking, client visits, referrals, online platforms, tenders and other channels.
• Prepare and submit professional proposals and quotations, follow them up and coordinate with technical and operations teams so they match project needs and company capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, scope and commercial terms within approved guidelines and convert qualified leads into confirmed projects.
• Maintain relationships with corporate, institutional, property and individual clients and follow up on repeat business.
• Research the Nairobi construction and property market, monitor competitors and trends, and keep accurate records of leads, proposals, quotations, LPOs and sales performance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development.
• Preferred: experience in construction, renovation, real estate or property management, and with corporate and institutional clients.
• Experience with tenders, quotations and LPOs.
• Good knowledge of the Nairobi construction and property market.

Required skills

• Ability to write professional construction proposals and business documents.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Target-driven, proactive and able to work independently.
