Sales & Marketing Intern

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Intern will support Naro Moru River Lodge in promoting its hospitality products, services and events. This role offers practical exposure to sales calls, client visits and digital marketing within a rustic mountain ecolodge setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in promoting hotel products, services, events and special offers.
• Support maintenance and updating of the client database.
• Participate in sales calls, client visits and follow‑ups.
• Help prepare quotations, itineraries and marketing materials.
• Identify new sales and marketing opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
• Contribute to social media marketing, content creation and promotional events.
• Collect guest feedback and communicate concerns to relevant teams.
• Assist in preparing sales and marketing reports and coordinate bookings with internal departments.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Studies or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Outstanding sales ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with practical knowledge of online marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Self‑driven, able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong networking capabilities.
• Good understanding of the outdoor industry and hospitality market.
