About the role

FinAgra is building a market‑led farming operation that only grows crops with proven demand. The Sales & Marketing Manager creates the market‑intelligence engine that turns live price and demand data into commercial decisions, guiding what we plant, where, and for whom.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured market research across target regions and crops, tracking live agricultural produce prices via web/API feeds and paid sources.
• Analyse price trends, seasonality, and market volumes to identify gaps and niches, producing regular reports and dashboards for top‑down decision‑making.
• Design and map the end‑to‑end sales and marketing process, feeding market intelligence directly into agronomy crop‑selection criteria.
• Maintain a live list of off‑takers/buyers per crop and region, supporting price validation and commercial assumptions used in finance.
• Convert market insights into concrete off‑take agreements and strengthen existing buyer relationships.
• Initially act as a hands‑on individual contributor, then recruit and lead a small commercial/market‑intelligence team.

Required profile

• Analytical and commercially‑minded with a strong interest in agriculture markets.
• Comfortable moving between data dashboards and field realities.
• Ability to work across functions and with a global team.
• Leadership potential to build and manage a market‑intelligence team.
