Sales Officer – Alternative Channels (Life Insurance)

About the role

Liberty Kenya is looking for motivated, customer‑focused Sales Officers to join the Alternative Channels team. Officers will be seconded to strategic business partners to grow the retail life‑insurance portfolio while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets for life‑insurance products.
• Prospect, engage and convert customers within designated partner locations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partner staff.
• Provide professional financial and insurance advisory services.
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit timely sales reports.
• Participate in sales activations, campaigns and customer‑engagement initiatives.
• Represent Liberty Life professionally and uphold the company’s values.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or a related field (bachelor’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum of one (1) year sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Certificate of Proficiency (COP/ECOP) or other relevant insurance qualifications and a valid IRA licence.
• Excellent customer‑relationship management skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑driven with a passion for sales and achieving results.
• Good digital literacy and ability to use digital sales platforms.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism and adaptability.
