Sales Representative – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive business growth for industrial adhesives, woodworking machinery, cutting tools and related products. The role involves field sales, customer visits and developing strong relationships with distributors and key accounts across Nairobi and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and field sales.
• Promote and sell industrial adhesives, woodworking machinery, cutting tools and related solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors and manufacturers.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and on‑site customer visits.
• Expand and manage sales channels within assigned territories.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
• Provide after‑sales support and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Submit timely sales reports and keep accurate customer records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or a related field.
• Age between 25 and 35 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, retail, showroom sales, product demonstrations or channel development.
• Experience in industrial adhesives, paints & coatings, hardware, building materials, woodworking machinery, tools or furniture manufacturing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
