Sales Representative - Mombasa

About the role

Mhasibu Sacco Society Limited is hiring a Sales Representative based in Mombasa. The role focuses on recruiting new members, growing the Society's portfolio and selling its products and services to existing and prospective members.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets through member recruitment and growth of the Society's portfolio.
• Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective members.
• Maintain effective customer service that meets members' expectations.
• Develop sales proposals, presentations and reports on time.
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
• Collect member feedback at networking forums to generate leads and improve products and services.
• Participate in marketing activities and events.
• Analyse territory and market potential and track sales and status reports.
• Carry out any other lawful duties as may be assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in a business-related field or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 1 year's relevant experience in a similar position.
• A relevant degree and membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

Performance indicators

• Monthly member recruitment targets achieved.
• Retention of existing members per portfolio.
• Loan uptake and savings by recruited members.
• Daily activity reports, market research and feedback.
