Sales Representative – Roasted & Instant Coffee

About the role

The Sales Representative will drive the growth of our roasted and instant coffee portfolio across Nairobi’s retail, wholesale, hospitality and corporate segments. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, promoting product benefits and securing new business.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell roasted and instant coffee to retail, wholesale, hospitality and corporate clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits, negotiate pricing and promotions, and monitor stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, orders, deliveries and payments.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and recommend sales strategies.
• Promote products through social media, trade fairs, exhibitions and in‑store merchandising.
• Prepare accurate sales reports, process orders and support debt collection.
• Plan and execute daily sales routes, ensuring efficient territory coverage.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of sales experience in FMCG or food‑beverage sector.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
