Sales Specialist – Western Kenya

About the role

KEDA Kenya Ceramics is launching a daily‑use porcelain product line and needs a Sales Specialist to drive growth across Western Kenya. The role is based in Kisumu and focuses on identifying opportunities, converting prospects and expanding the customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Market and sell ceramic products to retailers, distributors and wholesalers.
• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities and customer segments.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through presentations, quotations and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and market feedback.
• Coordinate with showroom, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Handle customer complaints, provide invoices and follow‑up to secure payments.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years proven sales experience, preferably in the ceramic industry.
• Strong knowledge of ceramic product types, sizes, finishes and market segments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
• Data analysis and market research capabilities.
