SAP BTP Fiori Developer

About the role

YP People Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Fiori Developer to join our Nairobi team. You will design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform, ensuring seamless integration with cloud‑based SAP back‑ends and an optimal user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Elements.
• Gather and analyse requirements together with business stakeholders.
• Integrate applications with OData services and APIs from SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or other SAP Cloud products.
• Utilise SAP BTP tools such as Business Application Studio, Cloud Foundry, and Destinations.
• Ensure performance, security, and usability of delivered solutions.
• Conduct unit and integration testing and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Promote SAP standards and Fiori Design Guidelines across projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing with SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and OData.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP services (BAS, Cloud Foundry, Destinations).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud integration projects.
• Team‑player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
