SAP Business One Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business One Functional Consultant to join our Nairobi team. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Business One solutions to meet client business requirements, while providing training and ongoing functional support.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP Business One based on customer requirements.
• Gather, analyse and map business processes to SAP B1 functionality.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution designs and configuration documentation.
• Conduct system demonstrations, user acceptance testing and end‑user training.
• Support data migration, master‑data preparation and system testing.
• Provide functional support, troubleshoot issues and coordinate customisations with technical consultants.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, system enhancements and post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT or related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with SAP Business One, including implementation and support.
• SAP B1 certification (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of accounting and business processes.
• Ability to conduct user training and prepare functional documentation.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
