SAP CI DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an SAP CI DevOps Engineer to join Deloitte’s Consulting Services Technology & Transformation team in Nairobi. The role combines operational ownership of SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CI) flows with development of enhancements, ensuring reliable connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and a variety of business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Take day‑to‑day technical ownership of SAP CI solutions after project hand‑over, monitoring flows, processing messages and resolving incidents.
• Develop, modify and enhance standard integration flows, configure protocols, and create or adjust XML/JSON transformations and XPath expressions.
• Manage solution‑specific certificates, credentials and configurations to keep integrations secure and compliant.
• Execute defect fixes, standard change requests and small enhancements through established release and transport processes.
• Collaborate with platform, application, project and business teams, providing clear technical analysis and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2‑4 years of hands‑on SAP Cloud Integration experience.
• Proven ability to support SAP CI integrations in production, including monitoring, incident analysis and defect resolution.
• Strong structured and methodical troubleshooting approach with independent handling of standard cases.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for stakeholder discussions and technical documentation.
