School Driver – Transport Pupils Safely

About the role

Delight Adventures Limited is seeking a reliable School Driver to safely transport pupils and staff between school premises and authorized destinations in Nairobi. The role requires strict adherence to road safety standards and the ability to maintain discipline while ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport pupils and staff to and from school and other authorized locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and safety procedures.
• Keep accurate vehicle and trip records.

Required profile

• Must be 35 years of age or older.
• Valid driving licence with D1, D2 or D3 endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.
• Minimum of 5 years experience driving school buses or passenger service vehicles.
• Statutory compliance: Certificate of Good Conduct, PSV licence, NTSA regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Physically fit, good moral character and strong interpersonal communication.

Required skills

• Valid D1/D2/D3 driving licence.
• PSV (Public Service Vehicle) licence.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving.
