Seafood Sales Specialist

About the role

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a passionate Seafood Sales Specialist to promote and sell a variety of seafood products to its extensive customer base. You will build strong relationships with both new and existing clients while driving sales performance in a fast‑paced, consultative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide expert advice on seafood selection, preparation, sustainability, and culinary applications.
• Respond to inquiries, recommend products, and close sales efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full seafood range, including sourcing, seasonal availability, quality standards, and culinary uses.
• Monitor industry trends, market pricing, and competitor offerings to position products effectively.
• Highlight unique selling points such as sustainability, freshness, and quality.
• Track sales activities, report performance and customer feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports on product sales, inventory levels, and customer trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the food or seafood sector.
• Strong knowledge of seafood products, including fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and committed to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM software.
