Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our accounting, tax and audit functions. The role is based in Nairobi and will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of the company. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimise cash flow and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting, tax and audit activities for the organisation.
• Oversee cash‑flow management and return optimisation.
• Prepare daily accounting entries and produce weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure continuous compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities, to achieve desired outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan tax regulations and audit standards.
• Proven ability to manage cash flow and financial reporting cycles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
