Senior Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join a growing financial services organization in Kenya. The role is designed for an accounting professional with strong expertise in full‑cycle accounting, tax compliance, payroll, financial reporting and team leadership. The successful candidate will help strengthen accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and oversee the organization’s accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage payroll processes and guarantee accurate and timely payments.
• Lead the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support and implement continuous improvements to accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• English language proficiency at C1 level (mandatory).
• French language proficiency at A1 level or higher (mandatory).
