Senior Business Development Manager – Europe

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will act as CTS’s technical ambassador to the European data‑centre industry. This role is focused on building trusted, executive‑level relationships rather than traditional sales, positioning CTS as the preferred engineering and delivery partner for hyperscale, colocation, cloud and AI data‑centre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with senior leaders of hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, AI and mission‑critical data‑centre operators across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
• Promote CTS’s integrated engineering, off‑site manufacturing, modularisation, digital engineering, testing & commissioning and project delivery capabilities.
• Identify and drive new data‑centre project opportunities using both account‑based and territory‑based approaches.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineering practices, developers, investors, contractors and other infrastructure stakeholders to strengthen market presence.
• Provide high‑level technical guidance on engineering strategies, delivery methodologies, procurement, constructability, modularisation and programme optimisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the data‑centre industry with a strong engineering background.
• Proven ability to engage executive leadership, engineering directors and programme managers.
• Exceptional technical credibility, commercial awareness and relationship‑management skills.
• Demonstrated success in positioning integrated delivery models as strategic advantages.
