Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will support the founder of Center for Transformation Leaders in expanding the reach of the Transformational Leadership Framework. This full‑time, onsite role is based in Nairobi and focuses on marketing, event sourcing, and maintaining a structured workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Extract compelling quotes and stories from the founder’s book and manuscripts and ensure they are represented accurately.
• Write, schedule, and publish weekly LinkedIn posts based on extracted material.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date speaker biography and prepare three polished speech outlines ready for distribution.
• Research upcoming conferences and events, identify speaking opportunities, and pitch the founder as a keynote speaker.
• Manage the founder’s speaking calendar and continuously improve the documented monthly workflow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus).
• 5–8 years of senior‑level experience in business development, sales or commercial roles.
• Proven ability to work in a process‑driven environment and follow documented systems.
• Strong written communication skills for content creation and social media.
