Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator (Kenya)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our global team and support innovative clinical studies across Africa. You will provide both administrative and technical assistance to project teams, ensuring trial activities run smoothly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee assigned trial activities according to the task matrix.
• Perform internal, country and investigator file reviews and document findings.
• Maintain study documentation, including eTMF updates, system access management, and vendor trackers.
• Provide system support for GoBalto and eTMF platforms.
• Support Risk‑Based Monitoring (RBM) activities and study metrics analysis.
• Process documents, manage mass mailings, and prepare meeting minutes.
• Handle regulatory document tracking, IRB/IEC submissions, and translation QC as needed.
• Assist with Investigator Site File (ISF) and pharmacy binder preparation and distribution.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Relevant formal academic or vocational qualification in clinical research or a related field.
• Proven experience in coordinating clinical trials, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GoBalto and electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) systems.
• Knowledge of Risk Based Monitoring (RBM) processes.
• Experience with document management, regulatory tracking, and vendor coordination.
