Senior Engineer – Solar Power & BESS

About the role

Miale Solar Solutions is expanding its engineering team to ensure every solar and battery storage project meets the highest standards of design, delivery, and quality control. The Senior Engineer will own engineering design, technical oversight, and governance across the project portfolio, acting as the key technical liaison with procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering design input and validate drawings for active and upcoming projects, ensuring compliance and technical soundness.
• Oversee power quality issues—including power factor correction, harmonic distortion, and voltage fluctuations—and direct resolution through technical teams.
• Lead the design, optimization, and standardization of electrical distribution boards across projects.
• Manage protection coordination and commissioning of electrical systems for new and existing installations.
• Supervise integration of solar PV, BESS, and grid‑tied inverter systems, reviewing control‑setting configurations.
• Lead project engineering activities, translating design intent into detailed, buildable plans and managing scope, schedule, and resources.
• Develop and implement QA/QC frameworks to ensure consistent quality across the portfolio.
• Serve as the technical interface with the Procurement team, evaluating equipment specifications and vendor compliance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level electrical engineer with extensive experience in solar and battery storage projects.
• Proven ability to lead technical design reviews, manage complex power quality challenges, and enforce engineering standards.
• Strong project engineering and management skills, with a focus on QA/QC and cross‑functional coordination.
