Senior Full Stack Developer – PHP, Laravel & Filament

About the role

Grain Industries Limited is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join its ICT team in Mombasa. The role focuses on building and maintaining web and mobile back‑end services using PHP, Laravel and Filament, while ensuring high performance, scalability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable web applications with PHP and Laravel.
• Create modern administrative portals and internal business applications using Filament.
• Build and document secure RESTful APIs for web, mobile and third‑party integrations.
• Develop back‑end services that support Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Integrate systems with ERP platforms, M‑Pesa, banking APIs and other external services.
• Optimize databases, queries, workflows and background processes.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation and troubleshooting production issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack developer, preferably in senior roles.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security and performance best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, operations and QA teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
