Senior HR Manager – Microfinance

About the role

The Senior Manager, HR (SM, HR) is an end‑to‑end generalist HR business partner reporting to the Associate Director, HR, BIHBV. The role is responsible for an assigned portfolio of BRAC International Microfinance subsidiaries and designated Central Team functions, acting as the primary HR focal point and strategic people partner.

Key responsibilities

• Own the HRBP agenda for an assigned portfolio of BI MF entities, partnering with Entity Heads of HR, MMTs and leaders to translate business priorities into people priorities.
• Serve as the HR focal point for designated BI MF Central Team functions/units, aligning their people priorities with the wider BI MF HR agenda.
• Partner with leaders on business‑led workforce, organisation and people decisions, assessing implications of growth, transformation, restructuring or productivity changes.
• Strengthen critical talent and leadership pipelines by facilitating talent reviews, succession discussions and leadership development initiatives.
• Identify people‑related risks and organisational issues, ensuring mitigation actions, audit follow‑up and improvement of policies and practices.
• Provide trusted HR advice on complex matters such as employee relations, performance, leadership and organisational change, supporting leaders in decision‑making.
• Connect business and Entity needs with HR Centers of Excellence and Central Services, ensuring appropriate expertise is engaged and enterprise HR frameworks are contextualised.
