Senior IBM i Developer (RPG/400) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IBM i Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain custom and purchased applications for our Pest Elimination Division. This fully remote position supports commercial pest‑prevention solutions across international markets, leveraging cutting‑edge IBM i technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and support business applications using RPG/400, RPGILE/400, RPGIV, and related iSeries technologies.
• Design and manage DB2/400 and SQL databases, including physical changes and performance tuning.
• Write technical specifications, conduct testing, and produce documentation for all components.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, contract programmers, and vendors to deliver project milestones.
• Provide training to other IT developers on newly created solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of combined education and work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience on IBM i platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship).
