Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Siemens Industry is establishing a new manufacturing plant in Pendergrass, Georgia and is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead operational excellence. The role focuses on ensuring process compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to established guidelines, processes and procedures.
• Drive performance standards within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
• Contribute to annual budget planning and monitor budget adherence.
• Propose and implement improvements to technical infrastructure and manufacturing procedures.
• Plan, develop and execute performance measurements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead and manage improvement projects at the site or unit level.
• Conduct inspections, investigations and in‑depth analysis of manufacturing and logistics processes.
• Lead ramp‑up activities for new equipment, machines and processes related to new product introductions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, external vendors and service providers.
• Maintain comprehensive, up‑to‑date process documentation and coordinate training for technicians and engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing and project management.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
