Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, maintenance and evaluation of motor vehicles, plant equipment and machinery for the Coast Water Works Development Agency. The role supports infrastructure projects by ensuring reliable operation of mechanical assets and preparing accurate technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design drawings and specifications for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Repair and maintain motor vehicles, plants and machinery to ensure continuous operation.
• Inspect motor vehicles and plant equipment, recommend necessary repairs and verify spare‑part requirements.
• Prepare valuation reports for vehicles, plants, machinery and other mechanical equipment.
• Ensure effectiveness and quality control of all machinery repairs.
• Conduct inspections and evaluations of motor vehicles and machinery as required.
• Participate in preparing tender documents for motor vehicles, machinery and spare parts.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in mechanical engineering.
