Senior .Net Developer

About the role

Rainforest Alliance is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join its Technology department. You will work on in‑house digital products, ensuring high performance, scalability, and secure cloud deployment across a global, decentralized team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom portals using .NET and C#.
• Optimize application performance for high‑traffic environments.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and messaging systems.
• Work with Azure Container Apps and Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
• Integrate Terraform into pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Utilize Docker and containerization for reliable deployments.
• Develop automated testing and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to influence system design and architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Proven experience delivering RESTful APIs and working with cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data storage concepts.
• Familiarity with security standards for application development.
• Experience collaborating with decentralized, multi‑location teams.
