Senior Python Engineer – Remote AI/ML Role

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a leading LLM company on a fully remote basis. The role focuses on building and refining large language models by creating high‑quality proprietary data, fine‑tuning, and benchmarking model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct systematic evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with defined criteria.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning initiatives, including the creation and upkeep of task‑specific datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Python and AI/ML development frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
• Strong understanding of evaluation strategies and benchmarking processes for large language models.
• Ability to design data‑generation pipelines and optimise model performance through code.
• Familiarity with methodologies for evaluating and ranking AI model responses.
