Senior Relationship Manager – Industrials (Client Coverage)

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager – Industrials (Client Coverage) will lead the management of industrial corporate client portfolios for KCB Bank in Nairobi. The role focuses on delivering growth targets, executing strategic client deals, and ensuring high‑quality service to retain and expand the bank’s industrial client base.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sector strategy aligned with overall division goals and drive annual revenue, fee, profit, asset, and liability targets.
• Execute client transactions according to strategic client plans and collaborate with product, bancassurance, and capital teams to achieve sales growth.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with industrial clients, ensuring long‑term loyalty and retention.
• Monitor daily referrals and manage client facilities within bank parameters, exercising discretion based on client activity.
• Prepare and submit credit proposals that comply with the bank’s Credit Policy and maintain portfolio quality within NPL and PAR limits.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum seven years of banking experience, including five years in corporate relationship management and three years in credit and financial analysis.
• Four years of portfolio management for industrial‑related clients.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with integrity to challenge the status quo.
