Senior Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our wood production business in Nairobi. The role combines strategic sales planning with digital marketing to drive revenue growth and strengthen our market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy that achieves targets and maintains a 40% profit margin across product lines.
• Recruit, train and mentor Sales Executives, Interior Designers and Project Managers, setting KPIs and performance reviews.
• Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance, manage the sales pipeline, and optimise the lead‑to‑close process.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, new opportunities and partnership prospects.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Work closely with the Marketing department to enhance digital presence and online sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with solid business acumen.
