Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with at least five years of professional experience to drive technology strategy, oversee technical operations, and lead engineering teams. The role combines hands‑on development with strategic planning to align engineering initiatives with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Implement quarterly technology strategies that support business objectives and accelerate digital innovation.
• Manage systems architecture, software development, network infrastructure, data security, and lab systems to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams while setting short‑ and long‑term technical goals.
• Optimize budgets, oversee staffing decisions, and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain robust cybersecurity measures, ensure data reliability, and enforce compliance with risk‑management standards.
• Identify process‑optimization opportunities and align technology initiatives with business growth.
• Plan, execute, and deliver projects, ensuring accurate scoping and alignment with organizational needs.
• Collaborate with business leaders, partners, vendors, and internal teams to integrate technology into broader strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Spring Boot, Django, Node.js) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system scalability, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), SQL/NoSQL databases, Agile/Scrum, and team leadership.
