Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join the technology team of a global biotechnology company. You will own the quality assurance process for a high‑impact software platform, designing automation, mentoring junior engineers, and signing off on releases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing, identify defects, and verify acceptance criteria.
• Develop and extend the existing automation suite and embed it deeper into the development workflow.
• Design new testing frameworks to improve coverage, reliability, and speed.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, from test requirement definition to release sign‑off.
• Track and manage test issues, collaborating closely with engineers and product teams.
• Write and maintain concise test documentation and update legacy test cases.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA experience with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience in agile or Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Selenium WebDriver.
• Pytest framework.
• Test management tools such as TestRail or QC.
• API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
