Senior Technical Office Architect

About the role

The Senior Technical Office Architect will lead architectural coordination and documentation within Tatu City’s Technical Office. This office‑based leadership position ensures design integrity, quality, and technical precision throughout the review, coordination, and construction phases of large‑scale developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed review of all architectural shop drawings, including façades, curtain walls, waterproofing, roofing, and high‑end interior fit‑out packages, ensuring alignment with design intent and specifications.
• Manage material submittals, samples, and mock‑ups, coordinating with structural and MEP teams to resolve clashes and interface issues.
• Oversee the RFI process, act as the primary technical liaison between lead architect and contractor, and review method statements and inspection‑test plans for compliance.
• Maintain a comprehensive register of drawings, submittals, RFIs, and specifications, providing the site team with up‑to‑date Issued for Construction documents.
• Support preparation of accurate as‑built drawings and documentation at project completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with 10–15 years of post‑qualification experience on large‑scale projects.
• Professional registration as an Architect (e.g., RIBA, AIA) is highly advantageous.
• Extensive experience with international contractors, façade specialists, and high‑rise mixed‑use developments.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Expert knowledge of building envelope systems, waterproofing, and façade engineering.
• Strong familiarity with international building codes, fire safety, and accessibility standards.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating complex architectural shop drawings and submittals.
• Ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation with high attention to detail.
