Silk Screen & Press Operator – Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Silk Screen Operator / Press Operator to support a critical U.S. Navy program on the remote island of Diego Garcia. The role involves producing high‑quality printed materials that meet strict Navy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up silk screens, prepare inks, and align materials for production.
• Operate manual or automated presses to create accurate prints.
• Monitor press operations, adjust settings, and inspect finished products for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality.
• Follow established production schedules and maintain consistent output.
• Clean and maintain screens and press equipment, manage ink and supply inventory.
• Document production output and keep the workspace orderly.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in silk screen printing, press operations, or a related production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow production specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials.
• Valid passport (minimum one year beyond hire date) and ability to travel internationally.
• Pass contract medical requirements and obtain necessary facility credentials.
