Site Lead – Operational Oversight for Linguist Teams

About the role

Valiant Integrated Services is looking for a Site Lead to provide operational, administrative, and management oversight for all Valiant and subcontractor linguists within the AFRICOM Area of Operations. The role ensures quality service delivery, maintains customer communication, and supports employee welfare in a demanding environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day actions to guarantee quality service and support to the customer.
• Communicate changes, requirements, concerns, and issues to the Task Order Program Manager.
• Forward customer requests to the Program Manager and keep the customer informed of status.
• Conduct daily meetings with the customer to align expectations and meet SOW requirements.
• Coordinate employee schedules, travel, health, morale, and welfare.
• Ensure adherence to customer regulations, work schedules, and administrative procedures.
• Handle administrative matters concerning linguist personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of management experience (military or civilian), including military grade E‑8 or higher.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Familiarity with military customs, courtesies, and procedures.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions, meet short deadlines, and lift up to 50 lb.
• Medical fitness, including hearing requirements and immunizations for the deployment area.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
