Site Water Bottler

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management solutions firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting a Site Water Bottler in Nairobi on behalf of its client. The role manages the water bottling plant at the client's facility, covering plant maintenance, bottling operations and health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the bottling plant by checking filters, keeping it clean and hygienic, and ensuring quarterly maintenance
• Trigger quarterly water testing, provide lab samples and conduct pH testing
• Report faults in the bottling unit and filters, and report changes in water quality
• Keep bottles hygienic, report faulty bottles and request replacements, and keep a tally of all site bottles
• Fill and distribute bottled water throughout the site and report faulty dispensers so repairs can be arranged
• Wear the required PPE (gloves, apron, dust coat, gumboots) and comply with site health and safety procedures, including toolbox talks and fire drills
• Support energy conservation, waste reduction, waste segregation and sustainability initiatives

Required profile

• Technical knowledge of water bottling systems
• Attention to detail and high standards of personal hygiene
• Ability to interact at various levels and make decisions and solve problems
