Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

RoamEstate Kenya is seeking a proactive Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to own and grow its digital presence. You will craft and execute a content strategy that attracts both property listers and seekers, positioning the brand as Kenya’s most trusted property platform online.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish daily content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter) and WhatsApp.
• Produce short‑form property videos and neighbourhood guides.
• Manage community engagement within real‑estate groups and forums.
• Design and run campaigns that drive traffic and listings.
• Track performance metrics weekly and present insights during Friday strategy sessions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field.
• Demonstrable passion for Kenya’s real‑estate market and active following of property‑related content.
• Highly active on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X, with experience creating property‑focused posts.
• Understanding of how property platforms operate and what motivates landlords and tenants.
• Own a personal laptop and can work independently on content creation and analytics.

Required skills

• Video editing using CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere or similar tools.
