About the role

316 Africa is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Manager to lead its digital presence across the continent. You will craft compelling storytelling, grow engaged online communities, and position the company as a thought leader in Africa's technology ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote products, updates, events, partnerships, and success stories.
• Write copy, captions, and campaign messaging that reflect the 316 Africa brand.
• Monitor and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Track performance, analyze metrics, and prepare regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.
• Support broader digital marketing initiatives and brand‑awareness campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a company, agency, or organization.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing previous social media work is highly preferred.
