Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, build, and maintain desktop applications. This remote position works with a global technology leader, delivering high‑quality software that enhances user experience across a widely used platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified during QA.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fully distributed environment.
