Software Engineer – ElectronJS Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS. This full‑time remote position works with a global technology leader, delivering high‑quality solutions that enhance user experience across a widely used platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise features for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Required profile

• Proficiency in ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
