Software Systems Sales Executive

About the role

Apexio Technologies Limited is seeking a motivated Software Systems Sales Executive to drive new business and expand our client base in Nairobi. You will be responsible for presenting our software solutions, understanding client needs, and closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Present and demonstrate software solutions to prospective clients.
• Understand client business needs and recommend suitable software systems.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and activity records.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience selling software, SaaS, ERP, CRM or technology solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business development and lead generation abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
