About the role
Equity Afia is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join its network of franchised outpatient centres. The role involves delivering high‑quality ultrasound examinations and providing accurate diagnostic information to support patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and acquire clear images.
- Interpret and document findings in collaboration with physicians.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with health information systems.
- Assist patients throughout the examination process, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging protocols.
Required profile
- Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology or Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Registered with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
- Member of the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
- Strong report‑writing ability and good communication skills.
