Sourcing Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Team Lead to manage the daily sourcing operations for high-volume recruitment in our Nairobi office. The role will ensure a steady flow of quality candidates, drive conversion rates and support Talent Acquisition partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing team to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Set, assign and monitor sourcing goals aligned with hiring priorities.
• Develop and adjust sourcing strategies for high-volume roles.
• Analyse metrics such as conversion rates, pipeline health and time-to-submission.
• Coach team members on Boolean search, talent mapping and candidate engagement techniques.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for sourcing challenges and coordinate resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements and best-practice sourcing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the sourcing function.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on sourcing or recruitment experience, or 1-2 years leading a sourcing team.
• Strong background in recruitment, preferably with exposure to US hiring.
• Excellent verbal communication and a neutral accent.
• Candidates whose primary experience is in operations or customer service will not be considered.

Required skills

• Advanced talent mapping and sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM systems and job boards.
• Expertise in Boolean search and metric tracking.
