Storage and Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO and lead the planning, coordination and execution of moving, relocation and storage services. The role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective delivery for residential, corporate and international clients while upholding high quality and customer satisfaction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily moving and storage operations, allocating crews, vehicles and equipment.
• Oversee end‑to‑end job execution including packing, loading, transport, unloading and setup.
• Manage warehouse functions such as receiving, inventory control, security, inspections and dispatch.
• Translate sales surveys and client requirements into clear operational instructions and coordinate with Sales, Client Service and Finance.
• Enforce safety standards, SOPs and company policies; investigate damages, losses and complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach and evaluate drivers, movers and operations staff, ensuring adequate staffing and professional conduct.
• Monitor operational costs, fuel usage, overtime and equipment wear; coordinate vehicle maintenance and fleet uptime.
• Liaise with transporters, suppliers and international partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months of experience in logistics, moving or storage operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operational teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for cost control and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer‑focused service.
