Store Assistant – Sultan Hamud

About the role

The Store Assistant will support the Store Officer in managing the store for an industrial manufacturing operation. The role focuses on inventory control, material issuance, and ensuring a clean, organized environment for raw materials and supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange store items for easy retrieval and issue materials to production staff.
• Inspect newly received items for quantity and specification compliance.
• Conduct daily stock counts, monitor reorder levels, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Authorize personnel collecting items and assist in creating material codes and Goods Receipt Notes.
• Raise purchase requests, follow up with procurement, and liaise with external suppliers.
• Record and report all store movements, including scrap reports, and support quality, food safety, and HSE management systems.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Engineering or a related science discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar store or inventory role within manufacturing.
• Basic proficiency with SAP.
