Store Keeper (Hospitality)

About the role

The Store Keeper will manage all hotel store operations, ensuring that supplies are received, stored, and issued efficiently. This full‑time position supports the smooth functioning of food, beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain organized, secure, and properly labelled stores for all hotel supplies.
• Issue stock to authorized departments based on approved requisitions.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile physical stock with system records, and report variances.
• Implement stock rotation practices, monitor expiry dates, and manage slow‑moving or obsolete items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the hotel’s inventory management system and prepare periodic stock reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel procedures, safeguard stock, and report any loss or theft.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently on site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an inventory management system.
