Stores Supervisor – Agriculture

About the role

The client is looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to manage inventory and store operations on their farm in Makueni County. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring safe, efficient handling of all goods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stores staff, allocate work, provide training and manage performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track goods received and issued, and update reorder levels.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies and monitor slow‑moving or obsolete items.
• Oversee receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation and timely handling.
• Keep storage areas organised, labelled, clean and safe for easy identification.
• Prepare regular management reports on stock levels, movements and issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Stores Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in stores, inventory or warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control, receiving, issuing and reconciliation procedures.
• Understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
