Strategic Project Lead – PCB & AI Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to drive end‑to‑end hardware development of PCB and AI platforms. The remote position will coordinate cross‑functional teams from concept through production, ensuring technical excellence and business alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for PCB and embedded system designs.
• Lead collaboration between hardware engineers, firmware developers, and external vendors to deliver prototypes on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee PCB layout reviews, signal‑integrity analysis, component selection, and manufacturability optimization.
• Define and monitor KPIs, manage risks, and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present technical and business updates to senior leadership and secure necessary resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of PCB design and embedded systems experience, including at least 3 years in a project‑lead or management role.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive projects to production.

Required skills

• PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence Allegro.
• Embedded firmware development in C/C++ and debugging with JTAG or logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of IPC‑2221, IPC‑A‑610, UL certification processes.
• Expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Version control (Git) and documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and supply‑chain coordination.
