Supermarket Branch Manager – Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Supermarket Branch Manager to lead our store on Kangundo Road and Embakasi. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving sales, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and retail best practices.
• Drive sales growth, analyse performance data, and implement promotions and pricing strategies.
• Manage inventory ordering, receiving, storage, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Supervise, train, schedule and motivate branch staff, conduct performance reviews and enforce discipline.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, resolve escalated complaints and build customer loyalty.
• Monitor daily sales, expenses and petty cash, and prepare accurate operational reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Retail Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a manager, supervisor or procurement officer in a busy supermarket or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of supermarket operations and FMCG products.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
