Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics, inventory, and distribution operations for its roofing products across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily supply chain activities, including warehousing, order fulfillment, and transportation.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and safety protocols to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material handling to maximize space utilization.
• Manage procurement to delivery cycle, negotiate with suppliers, and control costs.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing holding costs.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate supply chain staff, fostering teamwork and safety culture.
• Ensure quality control for inbound and outbound goods and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• CIPS Level 4‑6 certification.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, depot operations, or inventory management.
• Training in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or Fleet/Transport Management.
• Certificate in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other stock‑management software.
