Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end operations across Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia and Uganda. The role focuses on cold‑chain logistics, inventory accuracy, and the seamless movement of perishable products from production to customers while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full supply chain cycle from production handover to customer delivery.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance and optimal use of cold storage.
• Lead cold‑chain management to maintain product integrity throughout distribution.
• Plan and optimise logistics, transportation, route planning and on‑time deliveries (OTIF).
• Coordinate with Production, Commercial, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Drive inventory control, demand planning, order fulfilment and distribution efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, OTIF, cold‑chain compliance, waste and service levels.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, traceability, documentation and audit requirements.
• Lead logistics teams and third‑party transport partners while pursuing continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Food Science or related field.
• 6–15 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations, preferably with perishable goods (FMCG, dairy, seafood, fresh produce, meat or poultry).
• Hands‑on experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution.
• Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using supply chain software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
