Systems Integration Coordinator – Supply Chain IT

About the role

Serving as a key link between supply chain operations and IT infrastructure, this role drives digital alignment, system interoperability, and technological innovation for the Dawa za Ubora Project. The position leads the design, development, and deployment of information systems that enhance data collection, organization and reporting across the supply chain while addressing complex logistics challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Assess supply chain technology needs and consult stakeholders to define effective solutions.
• Create data structures, algorithms and system architecture balancing technology, cost and risk.
• Develop high‑quality code, document technical aspects and manage deployment across environments.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and upgrades for deployed applications.
• Oversee all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring systematic development and testing.
• Integrate software components into functional systems and implement verification and quality‑assurance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, including at least two years as a Software Developer.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, Ruby on Rails and C++.
• Data management and database management expertise.
• System integration and technical support/troubleshooting skills.
